This is the measured in-place volume at the externally selected compacted depth, not a material, drainage or pavement-section recommendation.

Compacted cu yd = Net area × compacted depth inches ÷ 12 ÷ 27

Explicit loose order and supplier density

The allowance and density are entered separately for the exact aggregate, gradation, moisture and supplier order basis. No hidden conversion factor is applied.

Exact tons = Compacted cu yd × (1 + entered allowance% ÷ 100) × entered supplier loose tons/cu yd
