How it works

Quarter Note Delay

60 seconds × 1000 ms divided by beats per minute gives one quarter note duration in milliseconds.

Delay (ms) = 60,000 ÷ BPM

Subdivision Delay

Divide or multiply quarter note delay by subdivision ratio for syncopated delay patterns.

Eighth = Quarter ÷ 2 | Dotted eighth = Quarter × 0.75 | Triplet eighth = Quarter ÷ 3
