Workflow

  1. Assess whether buried drip fits the site

    Record crops, root patterns, soil layers, slopes, water source, field operations and access needs. Discuss the proposed system with an irrigation designer, including germination needs, drainage, maintenance and the consequences of an inaccessible line failure.

  2. Review the complete design and service access

  4. Commission and establish a measured baseline

    Follow the system commissioning procedure, including flushing, leak checks and pressure/flow measurements at designed test points. Compare accessible representative discharge measurements and zone meter use with the specified performance. Confirm root-zone wetting with the crop/soil monitoring method.

  5. Monitor changes and protect lines during field work

    Track water use, pressure, crop response and filter service using the baseline method. Use the installed map before tillage or excavation. Investigate changes in delivery or wetting before increasing runtime; arrange supported maintenance or repair and update the map after any work.
