Develop a jewelry piece with compatible materials, a tested prototype, finish checks, an itemized cost record and accurate product photos and descriptions.
Define who the piece is for, where it will be worn and its required dimensions. Choose the construction method—such as stringing, wire work, cold connections or soldering—and obtain a matching tutorial or supervised lesson. List the exact material, temper, gauge, findings and tools.
Sketch the piece at actual size and make a prototype. Check fit with the intended wearer or dimensions, movement, weight and how it is put on and removed. Test each connection using the specified component and tool method before making the finished piece.
Work through the chosen method, protecting finished surfaces as you go. Smooth burrs, inspect connections under useful magnification and check clasp operation and edges that touch skin or fabric. Define checks appropriate to the design and document any correction.
Record actual material use and waste, labor time at your chosen rate, packaging, overhead and applicable selling fees. Compare a proposed selling price with those costs. Keep invoices and specifications supporting metal and gemstone descriptions, and check the rules in the market where the piece will be sold.
Capture the piece’s overall shape, scale, clasp, finish and relevant details with controlled light. Keep the original photos and use the Image Dimension Planner to prepare dimensions for a separate listing copy. Check the actual destination’s upload rules and inspect the exported images.

A dimension plan does not change an image file or verify the represented materials. Preserve originals, apply the size in an editor and inspect a separate export.
Supplier codes, material specifications and actual quantities are more useful for repeat production than a color name alone.
Check the whole piece in use and the small connections under magnification. Keep photographs of any recurring defect.
