Estimate ideal free-field receptor sound pressure from either a measured reference sound-pressure level or a sound-power level with an explicit directivity factor. These two level types are not interchangeable.
Pressure reference: Lp₂ = Lp₁−20log₁₀(r₂/r₁). Power reference: Lp = Lw+10log₁₀(Q/(4πr²)).Combine receptor sound levels
Logarithmically combine independent source levels already expressed at the same receptor, weighting and time basis. Include background as its own row only if it is not already included in another measurement.
