Workflow

  1. Collect the exact service requirements and history

    Collect current turbine, tower, controller and storage manuals, service bulletins and the previous inspection record. Identify the responsible qualified service team, access plan and known faults. Set the scope from the actual equipment and condition rather than an assumed generic maintenance interval.

  2. Separate resource changes from equipment symptoms

    Compare measured wind, energy, availability and metering boundaries across matching periods. Check missing observations, changed exposure, curtailment and operating controls before attributing lower energy to wear. Preserve abnormal noise, vibration or visible damage as service observations requiring the appropriate response.

  3. Plan isolation, rotor restraint and safe access

    Use the manufacturer’s service procedure and the site work plan to control electrical, stored and wind-driven mechanical energy. Assign rotor restraint, lowering/climbing, lifting, weather and exclusion-area requirements to the qualified team. A calculator is not an instruction for energizing or exposing equipment.

  4. Inspect the equipment and resolve documented findings

    Have the qualified team inspect the tower, anchors, blades, bearings, wiring, controls and protection as required by the exact manuals and observed condition. Retain measurements, replacement parts and settings. Review the wind diversion path if a control or battery change affects its documented operating envelope.

  5. Verify restoration against the service procedure

    Record the prescribed post-service inspections and functional tests, accepted configuration and operating conditions. Compare output, threshold behavior, rotor speed and receptor sound only with compatible baseline data. Preserve remaining anomalies and the responsible follow-up actions before accepting normal operation.

  6. Archive the completed service and new baseline

    Retain the dated work scope, observations, parts, settings, acceptance evidence and unresolved actions. Compare subsequent measured energy with the same resource, meter and availability basis. Use actual condition and the manufacturer’s schedule for future service, preserving portable exports of both calculations and the plan.
