How it works

Start With Total Raceway Area

Copy the total internal area for the exact source-selected raceway and trade size. Do not enter an already reduced 40%, 31%, 53% or special-condition allowance as the denominator, because applying a percentage to that value again double-counts the limit.

Preserve Item-Area Provenance

Each complete group keeps its own name, whole count and cross-sectional area from the controlling table, manufacturer data or actual-dimension record. The tool does not infer AWG, insulation, cable treatment, grounding/bonding inclusion or item classification.

Separate Occupied and Allowed Arithmetic
