How it works

Student term budget

Plan an explicitly chosen number of months plus one-time term costs. Distinguish recurring non-loan funds from opening cash and loan proceeds available for living costs. Borrowing can balance cash while still increasing debt.

Term costs = monthly expenses × months + one-time costs; available funds = monthly non-loan funds × months + opening cash + net loan proceeds; balance = available funds − term costs.

FAQ

No. Choose 1–24 whole budget months and add one-time or partial-month costs separately. A positive total does not prove funds are available on every bill date; use a dated cash timeline for that.

Use your own records on the units and period shown. Enter explicit zeros for absent amounts, verify current terms and record the dates and assumptions.

Choose Save planning case for local history. Copy MD includes current inputs, notes and interpretation; Download CSV exports the result breakdown. Keep a portable copy separately.
