How it works

Switch cable run and stock plan

Count the cable lengths on an already designed switch-circuit route and produce a feasible whole-roll cutting plan for one specified cable type. Each route is counted once per physical cable, with separately entered slack. This does not choose gauge, conductor count, box fill or wiring connections.

Each cut = route length + slack; total cable = sum(cut × whole cable count). Place longest cuts first in the first stock roll with sufficient remaining length.

No. Use a separately specified circuit and one cable type per case. Physical cable quantity is not multiplied by the number of conductors inside it. The packing is feasible, but not guaranteed to use the fewest rolls.
