How it works

WIFI Payload

Reserved backslash, semicolon, quote, comma, and colon characters are escaped before assembling WIFI:T:…;S:…;P:…;H:…;;. Compatibility remains scanner-dependent.

Client-Side Generation

The component calls the loaded QR library in the browser and does not intentionally persist the fields. This is a limited implementation statement, not a guarantee about browsers, extensions, screenshots, or copied/downloaded artifacts.

Validation and Export

SSID input is measured as UTF-8 and limited to 32 bytes; secured modes require a password. Render and export failures are displayed, and PNG/print actions remain disabled until a current render succeeds.
