Distance is one way; parking and tolls are daily totals. Fractional average days/weeks are allowed, but their product cannot exceed 366 days.

Both options use the same period. Annual costs are held constant; no inflation, discounting, automatic depreciation or incentive eligibility is modeled.

The threshold is the first whole ride count at which the entered pass costs no more. It accounts for fixed extras and an optional single matching cap period; some inputs have no such count.
