Set up a digital art workflow around a real sample: test input tools, choose canvas dimensions, preserve layers, manage color and inspect final exports.
Choose a small real project and record where the finished work will be viewed or printed. Obtain the recipient’s current dimensions, aspect ratio, file format, color-profile and size requirements. For print, confirm final physical size, requested pixel density and bleed with the printer.
Use available hardware to draw slow lines, curves and pressure changes on the intended canvas. Adjust mapping, pressure response and shortcuts to your needs. Save a layered working file, close it and reopen it to verify what survives.
Name layers and keep source references, drawing, color and effects separate where useful. Choose a working color profile and maintain it consistently. The Color Picker can record an sRGB reference value for a web version or project notes.
Keep the layered master. Plan the export dimensions with the Image Dimension Planner, then resize or crop a copy in the art application. Convert to the requested output profile, export in the required format and reopen the actual file to check dimensions, transparency, color and bytes.
Write a concise caption with context, credits and any agreed disclosures. Check the final image at its display size on a phone and desktop. Keep versioned backups and test restoring a working file. If using a QR code, point it to a stable public portfolio page and scan it before printing.
