  4. Compare complete costs and the operating strategy

    Price equipment, electrical and distribution changes, controls, removal, permits and commissioning. Verify current assistance and payment timing directly. Use explicit seasonal heat assumptions, applicable efficiency data and actual energy tariffs to compare operating scenarios. Discuss auxiliary heat, dual-fuel changeover and outage needs with the designer.

  5. Install and verify the designed system

    Have qualified people complete the electrical, refrigerant, controls and other work under the actual instructions and local requirements. Obtain the agreed airflow, refrigerant, condensate and control checks. Verify heating, cooling, defrost and supplemental or dual-fuel behavior through the manufacturer’s commissioning process.

  6. Review handover and performance in use

    Retain the matched models, certificate, design report, settings, warranty, maintenance and service information. Learn the local controls and confirm the household’s agreed fallback arrangements. Review comfort, cycling, noise, humidity and actual energy records during relevant weather, and follow up on unexpected auxiliary use or unmet needs.
